About the Role
We are looking for a result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead and grow our international education services in the Karaikudi region. The role focuses on college outreach programs, seminars, institutional relationships, and driving student enrollments. You will also have the opportunity to guide a small team as the branch expands.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Seminar Activities (Primary Focus)
Plan, coordinate, and deliver seminars and presentations at colleges, schools, and institutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, placement officers, and career counselors.
Manage event logistics, presentation materials, and follow-up to maximize student conversions.
Local Business Development
Conduct continuous market research to understand student needs, competitors, and local trends.
Manage a strong pipeline of leads generated from outreach activities.
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
Leadership & Coordination
Lead or mentor a small local team when required.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
Strong experience in seminars, public speaking, and educational outreach.
Experience in the education, study-abroad, or training industry is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills mandatory.
Knowledge of local institutions and the Karaikudi/Chettinad educational environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
